Teaching Discernment

As moms we feel the pressure to monitor everything our children watch, listen to or read. However, keeping up with a child on those issues can be very difficult. Learning through Example

Parents are the biggest influence on a child’s life. A parent’s job is to mold and shape a child to function productively in society. While, family values vary from family to family, most want at the core the same things for their children. I have yet to meet a well intentioned parent who did not want a happy, compassionate, well-rounded, and wise child. This world is full of false teachers that deceive the minds of many. Some say they come in the name of God for a divine purpose gaining followers, some boldly speak of things contrary to Christian beliefs, and some even claim to serve the same Christ yet twisting scripture to justify their motives.
