One of the more common questions posed to homeschoolers asks if it is not wise for students to be exposed to numerous teachers over the years. This question is asked because some have the impression that the only person that teaches homeschooler of their questions. Of course homeschooling parents know that they are not the font of all knowledge and supply a wide array to teachers for their children. Teachers That Influenced My Homeschooling Journey Part 2

In part 1 of Teachers That Influenced My Homeschooling Journey, I wrote about two teachers from my early years that had a part in my decision to homeschool as an adult. In part 2, I will discuss high school teachers that also influenced me. I had many good teachers in high school. I also had several very bad teachers. Teachers That Influenced My Homeschooling Journey Part 1

On my journey from Kindergarten to the 12th grade, I had many teachers. Many of these teachers influenced where I am today. They have also influenced the fact that I now homeschool my own children. The first teacher who had a big influence on me was my third grade teacher. I was out of school quite a bit that year due to chronic tonsillitis and a bit of bullying that I did not want to deal with.
