Schools and Swine Flu

The first day of school is right around the corner for most American school children, and while parents are stocking up on pencils, glue and notebooks, the government is concentrating on potential swine flu outbreaks. Numerous schools in our area have closed due to the swine flu outbreak, and I’ve been thinking about the parents who have had to scramble to secure childcare for their students. Reasons I am glad we homeschool: Swine Flu

Let me begin by stating that I do not believe for a second that by homeschooling my kids that they will not be exposed to swine flu or a similar kind of yuck.
