Petition for Duel Enrollment Programs in GA

When I started homeschooling my kids over 5 years ago, I did a bit of research and was pleased to find that colleges offered duel enrollment courses that homeschoolers could take as college and high school credit. Now that my son is in 9th grade, I began calling schools to find out where and when he could participate in a joint enrollment program. Georgia Board of Regents Changes its Tune on Dual Enrollement

I recently wrote about a Petition for Duel Enrollment Programs in Georgia. I was surprised when I found out that Georgia colleges were not allowing local homeschoolers the same dual enrollment opportunities that it offered public school kids. Apparently, I was not the only person surprised because not long after a petition was started. The petition was successful. Here is an update from the HSLDA: According to Tonya R.
