Perhaps I am an expert in Homeschooling

When I first started this job as homeschool blogger for families.com, I wrote a post entitled, Disclaimer, I am hardly an expert in education. Meanwhile, in the light of all of the questions I find myself answering of late, I am realizing that I just might be an expert in homeschooling.
Considering the fact that I have researched and studied all things homeschooling for the past four plus years, one could say I have the equivalent of a Bachelors degree in homeschooling (with a minor in education). Think about it. In four years of on the job homeschooling, researching the reasons and origins of homeschooliing, and writing numerous blogs and essays on education in general, you could say that I have homeschooled myself to a position of homeschooling expert.
When I started homeschooling my children those four years ago, all I knew was that what we had been doing for my kids did not work. I knew I had to attempt something different and that lots of other people were doing the same. Some of those people even helped me. Now because of my constant study and research, I could withstand the harshest interrogation against homeschooling, give reasons why people homeschool, and theorize on the future of homeschooling. I have a full detailed plan laid out for my kids (leaving space for their own desires), and we are on the homestretch toward our first graduation, in 4-5 years.
Since I have no degree to document all of the work I have done, I wonder how I could display my credentials. Perhaps I could put together a portfolio listing all of the books that I read, and the seminars I attended. Maybe I should add a link to my blogs over the years that show how much I have grown (some of my older ideas seem crazy now). Maybe I could just continue doing what I have been doing, and just saying, I have been homeschooling for four plus years. Trust me, I know what I am talking about.
