Eve Bristow (40) 01 Oct 2007 12:48 AMParents be sure to supervise your children on this site, there are pornographic comics (and other potentially objectionable content) on this site. Valorie Delp (49340) 03 Oct 2007 05:27 AMEve. . . Wowio is not a site for children. It is a site for adults. In my opinion--your children have no business being on it at all! It has some fantastic free resources that might be of interest to homeschoolers. For example, I downloaded the entire works of Beatrix Potter. We at the families.com homeschooling blog always recommend that you check out a site first--even if it is intended for children. The internet is constantly changing and what was there today may well be different tomorrow. We have edited the blog to reflect this. As always, thanks for your comments. Nicole Humphrey (15757) 03 Oct 2007 10:33 AMMichele, Thank you so much for this great resource you provide. This website looks great, and with me suddenly homeschooling one of my children, this will come in SO handy (especially since Ancient Civ is one of our topics!) hehehe. Anyway, thank you for all you do and I know I will be reading this category often! Discuss this article
