Hakim's History of the US (written by Joy Hakim) is as set of 11 instructional books by Oxford University Press that teaches the history of the United States of America. PBS has made accompanying DVD's and Webisodes. The Series I includes The First Americans, Making 13 Colonies, The New Nation, From Colonies to Country, and more. Teachers guides for Elementary and upper grades have been written to accompany the series. Hands on Homeschooling is a full curriculum program for children in the toddler and preschool years (age 2-5). The set includes a 3-ring binder with preparation and planning materials, lesson plans, Alternate activities, patterns, worksheets, and more. Handwriting Without Tears is a much acclaimed handwriting curriculum. (I used this program personally some years ago and taught my daughter to read during the summer before first grade. It was more like playing than working and we had great success with this program. Heart of Wisdom curriculum is a combination of numerous homeschool styles and philosophies including Charlotte Mason, Ruth Beechick, Far Above Rubies, and The Principle approach. "The Heart of Wisdom teaching approach is a combination of several teaching methods organized around a two-sided curriculum base: God's Word and God's World. Henle Latin is a set of Latin texts from 1945 that teaches Latin in a traditional way.
