Homeschool Curriculum Glossary (Let’s read -Lyrical)

Let’s-Read-and-Find-Out Science Books is said to be “one of the oldest and most successful science series for young readers.” It is comprised of Stage 1 books for Prek-1 and stage 2 books for K-4. These books are a great way to get kids interested in science. Letter of the Week is a reading readiness program for preschoolers. The program is designed be completed in 38 weeks and suggests that when using it “reading skills will come quickly for your child.” In fact, “Some children may begin to read on their own even before finishing all the letters”.
