Imitation in Writing is a writing curriculum that teaches students to not plagiarize, while also teaching them to pay attention to details, learn vocabulary through reading, and to outline the plot of the story. Institute for Excellence in Writing is a video seminar that teaches parents to teach their children how to write. It is reportedly patterned after the principles Benjamin Franklin used to teach himself how to write. In this approach, writing is not separated from other subjects. Grammar is not incorporated into this approach. Jacobs Elementary Algebra is a light hearted approach to algebra that teaches the student to understand math more deeply. James Madison High School is a highschool in Vienna VA that also offers distance learning options. James Madison High School allows student to receive their high school diploma without ever setting foot in a classroom. It allows students to learn a their own pace with no deadline pressure. Jean Welles Guitar Studio is a video program that teaches students how to play worship music on guitar. Jolly Phonics teaches letter sounds (versus the alphabet) through multisensory means. It teaches through the five basic skills for reading and writing which are "learning letter sounds, learning letter formation, blending, identifying sounds in words, and spelling the tricking words." Jolly phonics in an instructional program for parents to use in teaching their children to read. Jubilee Academy is a Pre K - 12 grade Christian based homeschool program. The program is also used with educational co-ops and virtual schools. Jubilee Academy considers all students to be "gifted home schoolers".
