I have often said that when I decided to homeschool that I read at least 30 books in preparation. My husband says that it is because I hyper-focus on anything that I am interested in. (Do not know if that is good or bad.

Unschooling - Unschooling is also called student led education and means that the child controls what he or she would learn. When the child shows interest in a topic, the parents would provide resources that will help them.

Teacher - A teacher in traditional education is a person who is educated and trained to teach and handle a class of children. Homeschoolers are criticized for not being trained teachers even though they take on the teacher's role.

School at Home - School at home is a form of homeschooling where the parents and children duplicate the methods and atmosphere of the classroom. This is usually unintentional. Many new homeschooling families begin homeschooling with the school-at-home method.

Kinesthetic learner -A kinesthetic learner learns by doing, and while doing. A kinesthetic learner is in constant motion and can be labeled ADHD because it may look like they are not paying attention during instruction. Learning Methods (learning styles) - Everyone learns in a different way.
