Find It Games are among my favorite games for children. I love the concept of a game they can play that encourages critical thinking, paying attention and a game they can play on their own or with a friend. My children love to shake up a Find It Game and find a few items here and there.

I want to be clear that I am in no way associated with Netflix. Netflix angered me as much as anyone else when prices were raised over half per month. My bill went from $10.99 to $17.99 for the same service. Yet, I stayed.

Teaching a foreign language is a challenging job for a homeschool mom who is not bilingual herself. When you teach a foreign language you need all the support you can get or your student will have difficulty mastering the language.

Today marks the first day we are going unplugged. The Unplugged Experiment means going completely off TV, video games, and internet for the kids and only semi-completely for me as I work online and have some blog business to do.

I am sending my children through a TV and video game detoxification program. During nice weather the TV rarely come on and the video games are traded for outdoor games. Yet, in the winter we tend to tune in and turn on electronic and internet outlets much more.
